We created activation for the best inventory system is the one industrial team barely has to think about.

Challenge

WORK MEETS THE STOCK

started with the workflow itself: where supplies live, how people access them, what gets replenished, and what gets tracked. That led to the central idea for KeepStock — make inventory feel naturally embedded in the way people work. From there, I built every touchpoint around the same promise: the right supplies are close, organized, visible, and ready when the team needs them. Inventory may never be glamorous, but it can be very satisfying when it behaves.

Approach

SHORT LINES, BIG JOB

I shaped the messaging around a set of short operational truths:

  • Ready Before You Run Low
  • Available Where Work Happens
  • Stocked Without Wasting Space
  • Tracked From Shelf to Spend

Those lines became the campaign backbone and gave me a simple way to connect photography, email, sales materials, product content, and event graphics with quick, clear messaging. Three seconds was the unofficial attention-span budget.

PUTTING THE STOCK in a Catalog

Once the core visual system was in place, I treated every deliverable as another expression of the same language: Grainger red and black, direct headlines, industrial photography, product detail, and modular layouts. That system moved easily across campaign imagery, email, product storytelling, vending, environmental graphics, and sales support while keeping the experience consistent from one touchpoint to the next.

Product Shoots

RIGHT THERE WHEN YOU NEED IT

For the photography, I focused on small moments that make the service tangible: reaching for a part, scanning a bin, restocking supplies, opening a vending cabinet, or working beside point-of-use inventory. Those moments gave the campaign a human rhythm and made the value of KeepStock easy to understand at a glance. A barcode scan can carry more story than you’d expect.

THE PARTS STOP HIDING

Physical Enablement

THE VENDING MACHINE ERA

The different KeepStock formats gave me a broad visual toolkit — bins, lockers, vending, scanners, cabinets, and product storage all brought something different to the system. I used that variety to show how KeepStock adapts across environments while still feeling like one connected experience. Same system, many ways to get your hands on the thing you came for.

Trade Show

YES, WE BUILT A BOOTH FOR INVENTORY

For the booth, I brought the campaign into a physical environment with storage, scanning, product, screens, and live demo space working together. The booth became a walk-in version of the campaign: visitors could see the system, understand it quickly, and experience how the pieces connect in real time. Inventory management with a little more stage presence.
